The Jefferson Parish Democratic Executive Committee (JPDEC)
will interview these Parish Council district candidates from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday on Jeff Talk, JPDEC’s Facebook Livestream show:
++ District 3 incumbent Byron Lee of Gretna and challenger Derrick Shepherd of Marrero, both Democrats.
++ District 4 candidates Arita Bohannan of Kenner and Jack Rizzuto of Metairie, both Republicans.
++ District 5 candidates Melinda Bourgeois and Hans Liljeberg, both Metairie Republicans.

– PLUS BESE CANDIDATE LAUREN JEWETT – AT 7 PM THURSDAY, SEPT. 28
The Jefferson Parish Democratic Executive Committee (JPDEC) will interview these Parish Council at-large Republican candidates from 7 to 7:45 p.m. Thursday on Jeff Talk, JPDEC’s Facebook Livestream show:
++ Division A incumbent Ricky Templet of Gretna and challenger Jennifer Van Vrancken of Metairie, who is seeking an at-large seat because she’s term-limited as the District 5 representative.
++ Division B incumbent Scott Walker of Metairie and challenger Dominick Impastato of Kenner, who is seeking an at-large seat because he’s term-limited as the District 4 representative.
Also appearing on Jeff Talk at 7:45 p.m. Thursday will be Lauren Jewett of Metairie, a Democrat who is running for the District 1 seat for the state Board of Elementary and Secondary Education.
