The Jefferson Parish Democratic Executive Committee has moved back the starting time of the Facebook Live town hall with supporters of Troy Carter and Karen Carter Peterson to 7:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 8. State Sens. Peterson and Carter are competing in the April 24 election (early voting starts April 10) for Louisiana’s 2nd Congressional District seat. Those appearing via Zoom Thursday night will include former state senator J.P. Morrell on behalf of Sen. Carter and State Rep. Mandie Landry on behalf of Sen. Peterson.
