JPDEC to Meet Via Zoom at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21

The Jefferson Parish Democratic Executive Committee will hold its next monthly public meeting via Zoom at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21. Some important items to be discussed, as outlined by Chair Trey Mustian: “Since our last meeting,  I have received a letter of resignation from the Committee from DeShannon Cobb-Russell ... I know you join me in thanking DeShannon for her many years of excellent service to the Committee. We now have two at-large vacancies … Anyone interested in applying for one of the vacancies should submit a letter of intent and a short resume or bio to me and must attend two consecutive Committee meetings before being considered for membership. Additionally, at the next meeting I will be asking the Committee to make a formal decision regarding whether we will continue to hold meetings via Zoom or otherwise.”
