          The Jefferson Parish Democratic Executive Committee is well represented on the DSCC – congratulations to those recently elected. Here’s a list of JPDEC folks serving the state party, plus the districts they represent:

          Dist. 78 – Gilda Reed and Jeff Barrois. Dist. 80 – Dwan Hilferty, Glenn McGovern. Dist. 82 – Jeanne McGlory, Raymond Delaney Jr. Dist. 83 – Kyle Green Jr. Dist. 84 – Leslie Smith, Michael Flowers. Dist. 85 – Brandon Trudeaux. Dist. 87 – Raven Lyons, Derrick Shepherd. Dist. 92 – Malinda Hills Holmes.

      DSCC members from across Louisiana will vote Aug. 29 to elect new state officers, including a party chair to succeed State Senator Karen Carter Peterson, who decided not to run again for the chair position.
