The Woodmere Civic Association, the Jeremiah Group and sorority Sigma Gamma Rho are conducting a Jefferson Parish-wide voter registration drive at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29. Those registering to vote should bring a Social Security Card, a state ID card, or a Driver’s License. Trained voter-registration volunteers will be at these locations:
