UPDATE: The Jeff Talk Facebook Live Event with State Democratic Chair Candidates has been moved up to 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20. Joe Biden will speak later that night during the 8 to 10 p.m. closing segment of the Democratic National Convention.

The Louisiana chair candidates (pictured below) are Democratic activist Katie Bernhardt of Lafayette and State Rep. Ted James (D-Dist. 101) of Baton Rouge. They will outline how they would energize the party and get more Democrats elected. They will also answer questions from moderators and viewers.
