JPDEC to Meet 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, via Zoom.

The Jefferson Parish Democratic Executive Committee will meet on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in open session at 7 p.m. via Zoom. Zoom invitation and agenda are attached. 

  First Vice Chair Jeanne McGlory will guide the meeting as JPDEC Chair Trey Mustian recovers from recent surgery. Discussion will include a recap and discussion of the recent DSCC Bylaws Committee meeting. JPDEC treasurer and DSCC member Dwan Hilferty introduced proposed amendments, as did DSCC member Tammy Savoie of New Orleans. JPDEC First Vice Chair Paul Anger spoke in support of their proposals. Other discussion items on the May 17 agenda include JPDEC officer elections coming up in July, plus the DSCC True Blue Gala with U.S. Rep. James Clyburn as guest speaker.
